Nexus One

“Google” by listening this word, first comes in our mind is nifty Search Engine. It is a role player in terms of search engine in the web world. Now this company has given new entry into the smart phone world with Nexus One in this year. For the first time google has designed a smart phone which brought lots of expectations and gossips. The gossip is about the operating system Andriod through which Nexus One is operated. As Andriod is open source operating system for mobile platform and already been in use in other smart phones like apple’s iPhone from past few years. But the manner Google devised this system for its smart phone is fabulous and is the primary reason for getting popularity on it.

In the present world, people preferring handsets to browse the worldwide net instead of personal desk computers or laptops. Targeting this as primary aspire, Google has designed Nexus One with android installed. As we all know that android is using since 2007 and playing prominent role in browsing internet on smart phones. The user friendly GUI of Android added another feature to the nexus one.

Nexus One with Previous HTC models

When Nexus One is compared to the earlier models of HTC’s Phones like Dream, Hero and Magic, a new set of features are added like high-speed processor, enhancement in the noise cancelation and voice capabilities, higher end performance, 720p HD capture supportable in the camera, high clarity resolution display. And its screen resolution appears much identical to the Droid Phone, even though Nexus One is using Amoled screen similar to the Microsoft’s Zune. This might be due to both resolution ratios are not much varies, as the screen resolution of Nexus One is 480×800 and droid’s 480×854. As addressed in the normal smart phones, the screen gets off to save power as soon as you stop interacting with it. But in case of Nexus One the screen will display with low light to save the power even after interacting with it. This is because of the oled technology which includes graphic effects at the background and few visualizers which keeps screen on. Even same thing happens with the Zune.
