Airtel announces partnership with Encyclopedia Britannica

Bharti Airtel a mobile phones in India service provider has recently entered into a partnership with Encyclopedia Britannica as per which the Airtel will get two years of free subscription for the Britannica Online which normally costs around Rs.6575.

The joint president, telemedia services of Bharti Airtel, K Srinivas said in a statement that the partnership of their company with Britannica was the part of their larger commitment so as to offer an enhanced broadband experience to the customers and specially the young adults and the children. He also stated that Britannica has created large content for audiences of India in different fields like culture, art, education, cinema and others across various mediums and it is in line with their company’s commitment to offers innovative content.

There are over 100 million users of Britannica all over the globe. Britannica Online also has collaborative tolls like the one which is a wiki platform for the people so that they can contribute to the encyclopedia.
